I am seriously considering starting my own repo business. l have 10+ years experience towing, 15+ years dealing with bad people (and good). l have access to a secure storage yard where l can put about 30 cars at a time. Just trying to figure out what dealers and banks are paying now, nobody in the biz will share that information. Need to figure out my financial plan to know if it will work.
As I recall, the fees were based on time and milage and tow fees. In other words, if you got a call for a pickup and the vehicle was not there, you still charge them. I do not think you get compensated for the hassle you get from the people. LOL
I always thought repo was part of the government. Or do you work along side banks? Either way, it sounds like you have all the right stuff to get it going and keep it going.
