l have had to repo a car twice from a friend of mine and now we are in the process of going to court over this. What is a reasonable charge to go pick up the car, which was about 10 miles from my house? Also aside from damages are there any additional charges l should add? Thanks

What a ''friend.'' One repo, shame on him. Two repos, shame on you.

What were ur actual expenses in going to pick up the car? Did u have to hire a tow truck? Did u have to pay someone to pick it up? Or did u simply drive over & pick it up yourself with 10 miles worth of gas expense?

Are there any damages to the car? Did he change the oil & maintain it properly? Are the tires worn out? Does he have any outstanding traffic tickets? Did he borrow any money against the car? Did he hurt anyone in an accident?

Check and see what a local towing company would charge ? As far as extras charges you will have to check with state law/court and see what is allowed ?
